With an abundance of choice, the restaurant industry is more competitive than ever and a competitive edge is crucial for success.

Great service and amazing food are of course essential, however, for an outstanding dining experience, ambience and restaurant design are critical – and that is where the restaurant fit out comes in as a restaurant’s overall design and layout play a vital role in the restaurant’s success.

Veneno Restaurant in Guadalajara, Mexico, was designed by Monteon Arquitectos Asociados and Pragma Studi. It was voted by Dezeen as one of the top restaurant interiors.

The restaurant was inspired by desert hues and the haciendas of Mexico and the ceiling shows a  a labyrinth of ancient ruins taking its inspiration from the archeological site of Casas Grandes.

Trois Cafe

The Trois Cafe by Architect and interior designer Nelson Chow, principal of NC Design & Architecture is designed as a tribute to Hong Kong’s housing estates.

With its bubblegum colours, retro-futuristic design, handcrafted details and brutalist geometry it may Hong Kong’s most Instagrammable cafe.

Sketch Restaurant is in ritzy Mayfair, comprised of 4 separate restaurants, each with their own unique design.

From an enchanted forest to a quirky patisserie to a Parlour with elegant Louis XV chairs with legs encased in white ballet shoes – this is the epitome of “Alice in Wonderland” eccentricity,

50% Cloud Artist’s Lounge

50% Cloud is a cavernous restaurant within a brick art installation in Mile City in Yunnan province, China.

The structure looks like a giant cluster of termite mounds and the interior is deliberately pared back so that the building is the main focus.

The furniture and layout compliment the curves of the structure and as the walls of the building could not be decorated, the focus is on the light that filtering through the skylights and onto the bricks, creating patterns throughout the day.

The Alchemist Dome

Expect the unexpected!! This is the mantra of the Alchemist Restaurant in Copenhagen and with a 3 hour gastronomic extravaganza under a dome with a flickering aurora borealis above it lives up to its mission.

Designed by Studio Duncalf this is a dining and entertaining space featuring a combination of theatre, warmth and intimacy in Denmark.
